Service Description

Objectives It is recognised that cadaveric laboratories offer by far the best opportunity for providing trainee surgeons with the operative experience they require. We provide the national laparoscopic colon surgery course for senior surgical trainees within their national training curriculum (SCHERP). The teaching and training is delivered by local and regional colorectal staff faculty. The aim is to learn operative laparoscopic colon resection techniques on cadaveric material in high quality facilities.
